I. Your first days
We want your start with us to be as smooth as possible. Therefore, we will provide you with a station buddy right from the start so that you can find your way around and get to know all your colleagues and the office as well as possible. In addition, there is the kick-off week together with the other graduates, where you can get to know everything.

II. Exciting job rotation
Regardless of whether you join us as an engineering or human resources graduate, it is important to us that you get as many insights as possible during the Program to understand the big picture. To do so, you will pass through various stations related to your future department and lay the foundation for the perfect career with us.

Our graduate areas
Area #1: Cell Manufacturing
The department Cell Manufacturing is responsible for production and assembly of our electrolysis cells. Key areas of responsibility include determining the manufacturing technology, controlling manufacturing facilities worldwide by specifying KPIs, and establishing and constantly expanding manufacturing capacities and the entire supply chain.
Area #2: Service (Strategy, Products, Governance)
The Service (Strategy, Products, Governance) department is subdivided into Chlor-Alkali Service and green Hydrogen (gh2) Service. The gH2 Service group within the Service department has the overarching goal of supporting all thyssenkrupp nucera customers with AWE electrolyzers during operation and maintenance. The group’s main task is to create, develop business and sales strategies for, conduct business development, and execute sales of the service portfolio that convinces customers to always use thyssenkrupp nucera as their first point of contact for questions about the electrolyzer.
Area #3: Procurement & Supply Management
The Procurement and Supply Management department pursues the goal of ensuring the efficient procurement and management of resources within the value chain in order to meet the needs of the company. This includes the strategic procurement of goods and services, ensuring efficient supply chain integration, cost optimization and guaranteeing the continuous availability of required materials and services. The department is segmented into various sub-areas in order to effectively manage the specific functions and responsibilities.
Area #4: Research & Development
The Research and Development function is subdivided into two departments: green Hydrogen (gh2) R&D on the one hand, gH2 Diversification, Chlor-Alkali R&D and IP on the other hand. The goal of R&D is to innovate, create and improve thyssenkrupp nucera’s electrolysis stacks and technologies, as well as to create and protect know-how and IP. The R&D team is deeply interconnected to many other teams at thyssenkrupp nucera, since its function is crucial to preserve nucera’s competitiveness in the market.

Here are some facts about the Program:
What is unique about the Program?
Our Graduate Program provides valuable exposure to four functional areas of our business, including an international assignment and access to exclusive networking and learning opportunities within 12-18 months. Beginning every fall, it is the perfect starting point for your career and offers room for your personal and professional growth.
What can I expect after the Graduate Program?
You will start as permanent employee with thyssenkrupp nucera. This means after the program, you start an unlimited position in the defined target functional area. With an alumni community, we ensure that you can continue to network with peers after the program.
How will I be supported during the Program?
At the beginning and end of each station, you will have an expectation meeting with the person responsible for the station. Within each station, you will have a “station buddy” who will help you with questions and give you regular feedback. You will also have regular opportunities to interact with other graduates. From the fourth station on, you will also be assigned a mentor who will guide you from being a graduate to the position in your target functional area.
