(Senior) Product Development Design Engineer for Pressurized Equipment (all genders welcome)

Your responsibilities

  • You develop and design new, innovative and cost effective solutions for Alkaline Water Electrolysis cells, electrolyser stacks.
  • You execute independent development projects, including cost control after a training phase.
  • You coordinate suppliers for development projects and conduct technical conversations with national and international clients, suppliers, development partners and affiliates.
  • You transfer the development results or improvements to the product qualification for serial production.
  • You contribute to build and maintain design and manufacturing requirement standards.
  • You participate to inspections, investigations, troubleshooting and customized solution.
  • You perform experiments and measurements at the test facilities of the company, partners and suppliers, analyse results, prepare reports to the business leader.

Your profile

  • You have a university degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering or equivalent.
  • You have profound knowledge with respect pressure vessel design codes (e.g. AD2000, EN13445 or ASME Code VIII).
  • You have experience in designing, manufacturing, operation, servicing or certification of pressure vessel equipment.
  • In best cast you gained several years of experience in design and calculation of pressure vessel equipment.
  • You are proficient in English and German.
  • You have knowledge of 3D- and 2D CAD tools (preferably SolidEdge and TeamCenter).
  • You are highly motivated, have a hands-on mentality and you are team-oriented.
  • The ability to think analytically and identify upside potentials, define and perform meaningful development projects and turn results into actual solutions for engineering and execution is an absolute must.
  • Your intercultural awareness supports you leveraging cultural differences. You are prepared for close collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
  • You are familiar with modern communication tools and MS Office.
  • You are willing to travel inside Germany as well as internationally on a regular basis.
