Your responsibilities
At thyssenkrupp nucera we pursue a comprehensive and long-term service approach for our customers to set the course for a long-term customer relationship. As a Customer Care Process Engineer you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your tasks will include:
- Take over technical support for individual customers and regular visits to our customers
- Providing proactive technical advice to customers through before, during and after the purchase process of service products
- Coordinate interfaces with our customer and with various internal global disciplines such as engineering, process, technical and commercial project management as well as the legal department
- Support Service Order Coordinator team on technical questions, issues of the orders
- Conducting studies for plant optimization and modernization
- Technical operating data analyses using digital tools
- Support for our customers in the event of plant malfunctions or event of causing damage
- Claim management for service projects
- Consulting during commissioning or turn-arounds at our customers’ plants
- Representation of thyssenkrupp nucera at customer sites, technical conferences and symposiums
Your profile
- You have a university degree in process engineering, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering
- First professional experience in the field of international chemical plant engineering is an advantage
- You are familiar with process engineering documents, flow diagrams (PFDs), piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), heat and mass balances, process control strategies
- You have the ability to present complex issues in a simple and understandable manner and can communicate across multiple hierarchy levels in a way that is appropriate for the recipient
- You like to take the initiative in your work and always act responsibly
- You see yourself as a strong team player and know how to convince others. In doing so, you never lose sight of our customers and the results
- Through your intercultural competence, you work successfully with project team members from different cultures towards a common goal
- You have a strong customer orientation, a willingness to innovate and enjoy working with people from other cultures
